now some of the crazy antics from their visit

After doing some yoga, Olivia showed me her "pretzel" pose.  I did that once when I was in 5th grade and almost couldn't get out of it so never tried again.

Playing a round of SkyJo.  I was so glad they already knew how to play.  Cliff and I first played when we visited Bill and Boni in the Florida panhandle. We played Jenga, too.  One afternoon we swam in the hotel pool.  Weather was in the nineties and humid during their stay so very limited on outdoor activities.  Saturday morning we all went to the Blairsville, GA farmers market before it got hot.

Grant has been taking photography classes in school.  Cliff loves their pug so Grant got this picture as "Toby" posed on the clean folded laundry.

Sunday afternoon at Monte Alban eating Mexican.

One afternoon we hiked down the path through our woods where Lauria discovered some wild woodsy plants she wanted to transplant in her shady back yard.

When we trudged back up the mountain path she put the plants in watermelon-sized zip-lock bags for the drive back too Virginia.

Pic of us taking pictures of each other taking pictures!

Lauria and Jim preparing a delicious chicken meal after the farmers market Saturday.

I dug fifty garlic bulbs before they arrived.  Hayden helped me clean and tie them so I could hang them to dry.

We celebrated Grant's 17th birthday with almond cake strawberries, and whipped cream.

The visit was healing and enjoyable.  I laughed aloud a lot with everyone.  Cliff laughed on the inside and was happy to have family surrounding him.  He really enjoyed the time even with all the commotion.
