Delicious pansies.
She ate all but one yellow flower. Maybe yellow has a bitter taste.
Other deer nibbled on the fresh rose leaves.
These iris didn't appeal to them because they smelled the flowers and walked away.
Walking right down the driveway.
We stood in the kitchen and watched them for about 15 minutes. It always leaves us with such a peaceful calm feeling.
Last weekend I put an order in to Joann Fabrics online for team fabrics to start a new line of aprons for the Farmers Market. My order arrived yesterday and today after step aerobics/Pilates/yoga class and lunch at the Chop House, I knocked out two aprons. One Florida Gators and one Georgia Bulldogs. Also have Tennessee Vols material. There are lots of Gator fans living in this area.
We're not sure we're going to set up in the morning at the market. Today we had such a squall line come through, on a 0% chance of rain, that if we were at the market, we would have been searching the next county for our crafts. I was in my room sewing, with windows closed, when I heard the roar of wind come through the forest bending the trees to a 45 degree angle. Last time I saw trees in that position was in Hurricane Charlie back in Florida. Our garage has a metal roof so the sound of broken branches and rain hitting the roof is exaggerated. About 20 minutes later the sun came out and all was calm. Temperature dropped to 52 degrees. We had branches and leaf debris in the driveway and all over the porch. We'll check the weather forecast in the morning.
