Late last week Jen called to tell us she was going to visit us for few days, without Mark.  She is between jobs and thought this would be the opportune time to visit her niece on the way to Murphy.  Tuesday afternoon we drove to Blairsville for the afternoon farmers market but the rain deterred vendors from setting so we went to Cabin Coffee where we sat on saddles with our drinks.  Cliff and I hadn't been there in years so this was a nice treat for me.

Then we browsed in a little artsy craft shop.  The weather had us wondering if we'd get back to the Kia before the clouds opened up again.  When the rain let up we went back to Murphy and walked the park. Back at the ranch Jen and I made a delicious broccoli soup for our light supper.

Blood pressure time.  She was okay just asked him to take her BP.

Visiting Carolina Crafters, a wonderfully eccentric antique shop.

Lauria and I spent time in this shop when she visited.  It's a great place.  Many retro items and things that bring back memories.

Saying "so long" until she and Mark come for Thanksgiving.
