It's snowing again. I go to the window and the snowflakes are large coming from the north. Come back a little later to wash some lunch pots and pans and snow showers are blowing up from the south. This event will be done by five pm. Temperatures for the next four nights show twenty to thirty-seven degrees then back to normal March in the mountain temperatures. I checked my Journey North site for hummingbird movement and saw that a male was sighted at a feeder in Conyers, GA yesterday. I will bring my feeders in from the garage to clean again after winter storage. Probably put out two feeders sometime next week. I place one at the kitchen window and one on the back porch where I can spot action from my recliner. I have pure alpaca wool ready to hang for nesting material.
It's taken all last week to update my new bank numbers since the compromise last Monday evening. Very emotional and exhausting week.
This morning I taught a vin to yin yoga class at the gym. Because the weather was dreary, cold and very windy, only fifteen yogis showed up as opposed to about twenty-five. Not many people swimming either this morning. This kind of weather isn't pool inviting.
Last week I walked Konehetee Park in the mornings.
Bradford pear trees in full bloom. heartwarming signs of spring
Took another online art course a few weeks ago. It was free! The best kind..................
Goats and chickens, usually running around, where I go for my massages. The goats talk to me when I get out of the car. Renee said they think I've come to give them treats.
This winter I went outside and cut some rosemary sprigs that were growing in the kitchen gardens near the garage and stuck them in water on the windowsill.
I'd replenish the water often and put the tiny vase back in the window. It made me happy to have the sprigs in the window during winter. The last time I replenished them with fresh cold water I noticed new roots.
Amazing. Rosemary sprigs don't rooted easily, especially in winter. Grabbed three pots from the she-shed and potting soil.
Today............still thriving. After gently pinching off the tips I can see the sprigs beginning to grow side shoots. Nice surprise.
The porch floor looks slippery collecting snow pellets. I'm staying in where it's nice and cozy warm.
