Yesterday, Friday, the black goo was applied all the way down the wall and on the footers.

Cliff and a friend placed the drain piping along the wall, elbowed it at the corner, and extended it around to the back of the concrete wall.  Heavy brown paper is to stop the clay from sifting through the Styrofoam popcorn and into the pipe. The inspector came out late afternoon and signed off this part.  We're very pleased with the subcontractors that have done each job.  Each time there is an inspection, we get signed off with no problems.

Moving some of the fill around.  Jamie amazes us with the way he handles his track-hoe.  He maneuvers the arm and bucket like it was an extension of his own body.

End of Friday's work.

View from the garden path.  We should have enough wood for a couple of winters.
